New Soccer Pitch for Laurimar Primary

Surfaced with artificial grass, this is one facility that will never need watering or mowing! Measuring 90 metres x 45 metres, the pitch is now ready for children to play on. The 4 lane 90 metre running track abuts the eastern side of the pitch and even has a 50 metre marker so to assist the children in their fitness training.

The City of Whittlesea were so impressed by the facility that they have applied for funding to provide lighting for the pitch and track. Although use of the pitch and track are currently restricted to Laurimar Primary students, the installation of lighting will eventually allow the facility to be used after hours as well.
