Netball lights for Laurimar

Cheered on by the Laurimar Netball Club, Darryl called the countdown, then cut   the ribbon as the lights came on for the first time.

Fully funded by Lend Lease Laurimar, installation of the four court lights will help   to address the huge demand in Laurimar for more Netball court time.  Instead of stopping play at 5pm in the winter and 8pm in the summer, netball can now be played in the evenings all year round.

Powder coated in red to match the school building colours, the 8 metre high poles are topped with 1000w Environ Lights. The lights also illuminate the pathway from the carpark to the court, thus improving safety and security as well.
