Laurimar Primary School, Lend Lease and interested parents have got together and formed the Sustainable transport and safety committee, which meets several times a term at Laurimar Primary school.
The committee is involved in
- Safe routes for walking/riding to school
- Ride/Walk to school program
- Bicycle safety policy
- Community Safety Day
- Traffic/Pedestrian safety in Laurimar
- School safety
