Community Development Grants Program

Community groups are encouraged to apply for funding under the City of Whittlesea’s Community Development Grants Program for 2010-2011.

The Council is looking for projects that not only promote community cohesion and strengthening but are also aligned with the six key strategic directions of the Community Plan:

• Inclusive and Engaged Community
• Accessibility in, out and around our City
• Growing our economy
• Places and spaces to connect people
• Health and wellbeing
• Living Sustainably

An allocation of grants of up to $1000 will also be made available for new and emerging groups.

Information sessions on the Community Development Grants Program will be held in the Fountain View Room at the Council Offices, 25 Ferres Boulevard, South Morang on Monday, 24 May from 7.30 pm – 9.30 pm and Friday, 28 May 3pm – 5pm.  For further information and to register your attendance at an information session, phone 9217 2027 or email
