History of Laurimar
Laurimar has been created with a vision and commitment to provide a place to live that offers community, amenity and beautiful open spaces.
Laurimar is a 324 hectare master-planned community in Doreen just 30km north-east of Melbourne CBD.
In 2006 Lend Lease acquired Laurimar from property group DRAPAC, which already had nearly 500 homes established.
Six years later over 5,000 residents enjoy the benefits of living in Laurimar with an expected total of 9,000 to enjoy the community by 2014.
Milestones by Lend Lease have included the construction and completion of the Laurimar Town Centre southern precinct, the opening of Laurimar Primary School with 130 students in the first year and the connection of Hazel Glen Drive to Plenty Road via Masons Bridge.
